Theory of Pretreatment:   The term “Pretreatment” covers all operations of preparing textile material for subsequent dyeing, printing & finishing processes. Textile material to be dyed or printed must have the following properties- High & uniform dye uptake &absorptive. Completely free from husks. High degree of polymerization of the cellulose.
